Hey Everyone,
Our main man Jaimie asked us to post some stuff on the Legacy Club Kids blog, so we thought we would share whats been going on in Shuffle world of late …. Here goes:
The last month has been rather crazy for us, we have been working ridiculously hard on our first album (more on that very soon) and touring like mofos. The past few weeks we were doing 2 tours at once Parklife & the Black Eyed Peas’ Australian tour,
We have just come off doing 13 shows in the last 16 days which was been pretty hardcore.
The Parklife tour was such an amazing & inspiring experience to be apart of, it featured alot of our heros & peers such as
Erol Alkon (who introduced himself to us on the artist bus going to the airport, such an amazingly cool dude), Tiga, MSTRKRFT, Busy P, The Rapture, Crystal Castles, A-Trak, La Roux, Empire Of The Sun, The Glimmers, Areoplane & good friends Beni, Shazam, Claude Von Stroke & the Bang Gang crew.
Must give a MASSIVE shout out to the Fuzzy crew who worked tirelessly throughout the whole tour and didn’t sleep a wink the whole time!!!
We have done a few festival appearances which has been great but we have never done a full tour like this, as A-Trak mentioned in his blog post “it was like being at summer camp”.
We were very lucky to be playing on the mainstage for each show, we shared the stage with La Roux, Little Boots, Shazam, A-Trak & Empire Of The Sun.. Pretty farkin sick if ya ask us
It was such a good feeling to see the party goers at the festivals recognising our original tunes, escpecially “For Everyone” which is 2 years old. It’s hard to describe watching it destory up to 15,000 people! But here is some footage we took over the tour

We also managed to catch some of the DJs and bands playing the Parklife tour – highlights were Joakim, Erol Alkon, Tiga, Claude Von Stroke, The Rapture, Metronemy & Empire of The Sun (the new pink floyd anyone????)

The Shuffle played a few of the Parklife tour afterparties…which can often be unpredictable – depending on if the punters are keen to party or already partied out – but both shows we played were awesome. Twice we ended up going B2B with Claude Von Stroke. That guy is a champion and has such a big following over here. He always manages to pull out these tunes that you have never heard before and totally blows the crowd away. It was really fun for us to pull out some tunes that we havent had a chance to play for a while.. Good boozy times
Now onto the BEP tour which has been a really cool and eye-opening experience. It was amazing to be picked as the support act for these guys. Love ‘em or hate ‘em you can’t deny how big they are. It was great to see what goes in to a production of this calibre
- they have a crew of up to 110 people to put whole show together…HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE
Although it may sound like we hit the big time, being the opening act was actually quite hard. As soon as the doors opened, thousands of kids would rush the stage and then just stare at us while we played. The volume front of stage was so low that we could
actually hear the conversations going on in the crowd…Still was so surreal and alot of fun once you get over the initial awkwardness.
The first show was in brisbane, once we played we went over to our regular joint “Dirty Thursdays” @ Monestary (always a lot of fun) to dj and the BEP came down to party… Will-I-Am dj’d after us which was cool, the man has skills and is a great entertainer!!
Ok that’s it for now, we also have some tunes to share so please hit em up and leave a comment
