Still he is hailed as one of the Fidget pioneers and front line commando trooper in this regime. But what some might have overlooked is that Jaimie Fanatic has kept on growing and moving into directions far from fidget and mainstream electro house music.
In the past few months Jaimie has done remixes for Andrew Phillpot (Depeche Mode) and his “Das Shadow” crew, Gigi Barocco, Hermanos Inglesos, Capucino and many others.. all in the indie/nu disko realm. Working currently on his album, which as he describes himself, is a combination of “french retro sounds and deep synths with disco beats”.
Although Jaimie Fanatic is a rare commodity on dutch soil, he is often to be found across oceans and seas. Catch him in at his Singapore and Australia tour in april:

In between working on my album (done with 6 of the 10 tracks, so getting there!) I thought it was time to start spreading some mixes again.
So I decided to do a monthly top 10 kind of thing. My 10 most favorite tracks at the time in a 30 minute mix. Tracklist included of course and mixed in Traktor (internal mixer).

Want daar gaat zomaar even de trend worden gezet totaan het einde van de mayakalender. Met niemand minder dan het illustere team van VENOUR, die niet alleen op je beeld relletjes schoppen, maar ook tussen de monitors belony weten te maken. De slickste beats van JEFF SOLO, MIKE MAGO van de formatie Boemklatch (BMKLTSCH RCRDS) en OSLO HILTON (van Oslo Hilton) laten dansvloerperikelen in een adem verdampen tot zwitsalpoeder. Verder demonstreert DJ ROCKID (Foktop! Recs) een potje draaitafel-taikwondo en komt JAIMIE FANATIC (Mad Decent / Dim Mak) speciaal voor deze avond nationaal netwerken. De gelederen worden niet zomaar gesloten, maar door de ruime geesten van GUERILLA SPEAKERZ, deze 4 handen op een buik gaan niet voor niets achter de draaitafels plaatsnemen, ze krijgen er geld voor. Nee geintje, dat zou foktop zijn, ze vinden het, net zoals de rest, echt heel tof…echt waar.

Congorock arrived in Dutchland, in a few hours we’ll be having dinner with him, the LKC crew (Jaimie Fanatic, Sick Boy) and homeboys like Mike Mago (Boemklatsch), Homework, etc etc. If you wanna take paparazzi pictures, we’ll be at WAGAMAMA near Leidscheplein.
Doors of Flexbar open at 23h.. best believe you be there in time because we have a feeling (looking at our gueslist) that its gonna be one packed mothafarking house! We’re gonna make sure the stage is big enough for you guys to climb on and party with your favourite dj tonight!!

It’s almost 5th november and that means the launch of our very very own Legacy Kids Club Thursdays. I’m actually excited and scared at the same time. Holland is not the easiest crowd to please. I’ve travelled around the world and have seen small and huge parties go wild as fark with superstar djs and with fairly new djs doing their shows. But nonetheless Sick Boy and I feel the need to show you guys what it feels like to go to Dim Mak tuesdays or Mad Decent fridays and have a small family crowd of not more than 200 heads, intimately, go nuts on the best djs of the world. And Yes with world I emphasize the span of our friendly network, because we have and are inviting the best djs from all over the world.
One of these giants is nobody else than CONGOROCK! Having worked with The Bloody Beetroots, Crookers, being signed to A-Trak’s label Fools Gold and done so many remixes and originals you could fill a swimmingpool with, we are SURE to have brought you one of the most exciting artists out there right now!
